HAVE A 1997 LESABRE. TRANS IS SLIPPING WHILE ACCELERATING. FEELS LIKE IT IS TRYING TO CATCH UP WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP ON A TURN AND WHEN UNDER MODERATE TO HEAVY ACCELERATION ENGINE REVS AND IT FEELS LIKE I AM GOING NOWHERE. HAVE TO BACK OFF ON ACCELERATOR TO GET IT TO SHIFT.

This will be an internal problem with the trans, not a lot you can do your self apart from checking that the trans oil is correct, get this inspected by a trans specialist, the moire you drive the more damage that you will be doing, so get this checked ASAP.
