1995 Toyota Corolla Repair Question

My engine was replace how can i tell if i have a 1.6 or 1.8?

I rebuit the engine cause the guy how put it in did not do it right and it messed up. When I was working on it I got rod bearings for a 1.6 but they didnt fit on the crank. So I when an got the 1.8 bearings an they fit. So do I have a 1.6 or 1.8?

what did you get parts for??? it sounds like the 1.8 from your description. did you plastigauge the bearings??

what did he do wrong??

he just put it in without really looking over it so the engine lock up

did yu return to him to repair it correctly?? was it used or rebuilt??

No i didnt go back to him and it was a used engine. I just rebuit it myself it run better but when I was starting the car the timing belt broke so now have to replace the the valves. I just needed to see if it was a 1.8 cause Im get new parts for it but THANKS A LOT!!!! Now I know what parts to get
