enter your question...i have a 95 toyota camery that has very intermitent starting issuses seem like it does not engage sometimes what should i look at first

So does your starter make any noise when it doesn't turn the engine over?Also the first thing i would check is have your battery tested and make sure your battery cable's are clean and tight.Do you have a multimeter or test light to do some testing?

if your talking about a free spinnig noise its your starter.if its a grinding noise it might be the flex plate.
