1995 Firebird auto trans

It looks like that is just a basic code reader for the newer cars. You would have to get a more advanced code reader that does obd2 and the older obd1 gm ford and chrsyler cars like the one I have.

I take that back mine won't read those older transmission codes you would have to get one that could. If you can get those codes that your setting I can get you the trouble for it and help you figure out whats going on with your car.

I take the car to another shop mon I noticed when I was under car yesterday the speed sensor plug was off I oluged it back and drove car but speedo still doesnt work I think it was unpluged when they checked the codes. Ill send you the codes when I get them

You said you replaced the speed sensor so that wouldn't make any sense that is was unplugged and setting those codes. Unless you never unplugged it or plugged it back in when you changed it for the new one?So how does it shift with the sensor plugged in?I know your speedometer isn't working but how does it shift?
