Hello there. I have a problem with starting the engine in my jag xj6 1995 3.2 l automatic gearbox. The gearbox lever is in P position and break pedal is pushed down. All is going fine, key is turning ok, just doing knock noise and nothing happening. I can mention I had a problem before with the gearbox lever P positioning (was too loose and there were a same symptoms, but I fixed it. Since then was all ok until now.I think is electrical problem. Thanks for help

Check condition of battery including load test first. Autoparts do for free. Check the fuses that are pointed out then check the wire pointed out in pic if no power have it scanned as the body module may be no good

Thanks for that. I checked the battery and that was a problem. I have used jump leads and engine started as new. Perfect. Thank you very much.
