Starting problems
Hi, my 1995 Jaguar has problems with starting up. In fact the key wont fully turn when inserted, Is this a problem with the key system or could it be something more?

IGNITION SWITCH & LOCK CYLINDER
Removal & Installation
Disconnect battery ground. Remove steering wheel. See STEERING WHEEL & HORN PAD . Remove steering wheel spline adapter ring. Remove instrument illumination rheostat control knob. Remove lower and then upper cover. Remove column switch-gear mounting bracket-to-upper column securing bolts. Reposition mounting bracket and remove upper nacelle. Reposition switch-gear mounting bracket to all access to ignition switch.
Disconnect ignition switch harness multi-plug. Release ignition switch harness multi-plug. Release ignition switch retaining tags. Remove ignition switch from lock assembly. Using a suitable punch, remove shear bolts securing lock assembly. Release switch assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure, using new shear bolts.
