Mitsubishi Mighty Max Air filter Problem
87 mighty max 2.0 water got in carb, idles rough,and stolls but starts up fine and rubbed down the road fine, stolls at lights.

How much water? you might have to get the carby cleaned out as the idle jet may be dirty and clogged.

Not sure my son drove it though a huge puddle and it pulled water into the motor.starts fine in the morn and idles high on chock, till u touch the gas.Then it idles hard and dies.

change air filter and make sure all electrics are dry.

I have its been 2 months now ,replaced the cap and rotor. Sprayed carb cleaner in carb, checked 2 see if the choke was working. It runs great about 1000 rpm,and down the road .
