Replacing the manual fuel filter on an 86 chevy suburban

Are you able to describe the entire process of replacing the manual fuel filter on an 86 chevy suburban.

i assume you mean the gas filter

you need a 13/16 open end wrench and a 5/8 line wrench to remove the lines from the filter.

be carefull of the fuel that will come out. use protection on your hands and saftey glasses.

I meant fuel pump.

the fuel tank has to be removed to gain acess to the top of the tank so you can remove the pump module.

it is a very involved job as the tank needs to be supported properly so you do not drop it. it is harder if it is full.

you may want to get a shop to do it for you as it is dangerous.
