Rebuilding my 1977 Chevy Camaro, that I received as a birthday present, and I am unsure about my alternator. I would like to know the steps to do in order to hook up an One-Wire alternator?

I thinkyou just hook up the one large wire and that's it. If you got an alternator it shold have instructions on what to do.

That is the problem, the instructions are not available. It arrived, in a box, without any instructions, diagrams or directions

Then go online they are probably there. The other two wiresare for putting your light out and acting as an exciter to make teh alternator charge. If you know who built it they probably have instructions online.
