my car died at a stop light on wednesday, had a new battery put in and the car started right up. i was told to have the alternator checked which i did and i was told it was fine. I didnt drive my car on saturday, i started it up today sunday and drove to the store on the way back i noticed the battery gauge going down. now the car wont start, is the battery not a good one or do i need to have my alternator checked again?

Hi there,

Best have the battery load tested and re check the alternator charge rate, make sure that the battery terminals are clean & tight as are the engine & any chassis earths.
