Can I get the part number on the CAM gear thrust bearing that you used your 454 build?

And did you have to machine the block to use it? Thank you in advance. I have been told you may need to machine the front of the block where the cam thrust bearing goes in order to use one.

Hi,

I am going to forward your question to Ryan. He is the one that did the video. If you don't hear back from him within a couple of days, let me know. However, he usually gets back to people quickly.

Take care,

Joe

Hello Freddy!

Thank you so much for watching the series and for using the site. Our thrust bearing came with our timing set, so it fits the Cloyes timing set perfectly. I believe this is the same one that came in our kit https://www.summitracing.com/parts/clo-9-220/make/chevrolet if you use a Cloyes timing set with this no machining is required.

Thanks for watching!
