Will not go into reverse

When I shift into reverse it feels like it goes into gear but will not move at all. Sometimes I can hear a gear noise from transmission when in reverse. It could be just me, but does not seem like it. I did not have a problem until I started using my air conditioner more often.

it sounds like a planetary failure internally especially with the grinding gears.

Make sure the fluid level is correct and the filter is not clogged.
