I'm about to go purchase this vehicle listed above on it for my daughter. Is $4,000.00 a good price for that or is that over paying before I go and pay for this? I would like to know because I'm a single mother and this is all the money I have to send my daughter off to college in a safe vehicle. Any advice any advice would be very helpful.

First of all, it is hard to know for sure if this vehicle is going to be a safe reliable vehicle more then any other. So all we can do is check the basics and make the best decision possible with the info that you have.

If it turns out to be wrong then that is just the way it works out.

In general these vehicles are reliable and safe, so that is a good start.

Next this vehicle in good condition is worth this price. It seems to be on the lower side of its value so unless there is major body damage or it does not run well then I would move forward.

Below is a screenshot of this value. The last thing I would do is call around and ask if a shop will evaluate the vehicle for you. Most will do it for cheap or even free.

Again, if this turns out to be not a good vehicle if you took these steps then that is just the way it turns out and you can't fault yourself for it as there is no way to tell the future of the vehicle.

Please let us know if you have questions. Thanks

Thank you. I did go ahead and bought it. So far so good. I have looked at this car and I know the year is a little older but 1 owner 130,000 miles I think it was a good buy. These cars are supposed to last. My daughter was a little disappoint because it's not as fancy as her friends. I told her that looks don't matter. I bet her this car outlast her friends forsure. Thank you for responding and your input very helpful. :)

That is great. From the sound of it, I think you are that it was a good buy.

I remember the days when looks mattered more. I almost bought a Mustang that had a salvage title and was in a wreck after it was stolen for $10,000, but it was a Mustang. :)

God had his hand in that one or I would have been out $10,000.00.

Now, my wife is still driving the car her father bought for her in college. We found 3 car seats that would fit in the back just so we didn't have to buy a minivan, all because we can't beat the payment of this car.

It has paid for itself about 10 times so I am sure your daughter will come around.

Thanks for using 2CarPros. Please come back in the future.
