When shifting into reverse or drive, has a bad noisy clanky grinding sound with vibration and does not move?

Makes no noise when in park idling but shifting in reverse or drive has a bad noisy clanky grinding sound with vibration and won't move.

It sounds like the rear end is having a problem, but to be sure have a helper put the truck in drive or reverse while you look under the truck using a flashlight to see if the driveshaft is spinning without the truck moving, this will confirm the problem.
