Had the engine changed and the ECU. The mechanic says there is now a wiring problem, he says probably from when the moved things around changing engine. Says he has to go through all the wiring. I am wondering at the most how many hours should it take him to go through all the wiring.

Hello,

It should take a long time. Wiring can be an absolute nightmare, and if he went through the entire wiring, he would know where the problem was.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello again,

It is hard to track down exact times because I'm not sure of the systems that might be damaged, but this is what I was able to glean from our reference guide for wiring harness labor times in the diagrams down below. I hope this helps, but I could be a little more specific if I knew exactly the areas your mechanic was working on.

Thanks,
Alex
