Wipers and heater blower stopped working couple weeks later they started working again now they’re all completely. I checked my harness at the blower and all I have is hot on both wires. The blower works if I hook it up direct. I also checked the connector on my wipers and all the wires there are hot. There is no ground so what would cause this to happen? I’ve read a few things about fuses breakers everything’s working but there is no ground at the connections there.

Hi,

If you look at pics 1 and 2, I circled the ground in both. Pic 1 is for the wiper motor and pic 2 for the blower motor. Note they are at the same location.

The first thing I suggest is to locate that ground (black wires) which will be mounted in the left (driver's side) rear of the engine compartment and check condition. Chances are the connection is corroded or broken.

If the ground appears good, then check the splice where they are joined. Pic 3 indicates location. I highlighted it.

If you can't locate it, then you can make a new ground if you want by grounding the black wires shown in the pics to a known ground.

Try this and let me know if it helps and what you find.

Take care,

Joe
