Hello, current all season tires on car size 235, 50R, 18 inch. Was given a new set of winter tires size 235, 55R.18 inch. Think I can still mount them even if the sidewall on the winter is just a bit bigger thanks.

Good morning,

By changing the aspect ratio or the number between the rim and the tread, you will effect the roll speed.

It may effect your ABS system as the roll speed will be different between the front and rear tires.

They will work but my question is, why are you using winter tires? Today's tires work well in both summer and winter.
