I have the car listed above police interceptor. My wipers wont work at all. I have replaced the motor. Replaced the there main fuses associated with the wipers and also replaced the harness that connects to the wiper motor then to the main harness of the vehicle itself.

When replacing them wiper motor. I popped it open and it was in fact burned in the inside. The plug that connects to the motor had a bit of burn on it but I replaced everything and still nothing.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Has the multi function switch been replaced?

Okay, I attached a portion of the wiring schematic below. In addition to checking fuse 17, make sure there is power where it plugs in.

Once you confirm power out from the fuse, check at the motor. There will be two dark green wires. Check pin 8 for 12v from the fuse.

Lets start there. Let me know what you find.

Joe

The next thing to check is if the power from that fuse is making it to the multi function switch. It is pin 7 (dark green wire) from the fuse. If there is power to the switch but not out, then the switch is the problem.

Also, you did confirm there is power at fuse 17, correct?
