Windshield wipers not turning off

My windshield wipers won't shut off only when I turn the car off, but when I turn on its still on the front ones. I tried the regular way but nothing at all. Any ideas will help. Thank you

Hello and thank you for using 2CarPros. The first thing I recommend is removing the fuse for the wipers so you can get it to stop. Second, you need to have the whole system scanned for codes. Your concern that you have would indicate a possible Central Electronic Module fault. Maybe corrosion from an undetected windshield glass leak if it has been replaced or maybe leaking sunroof drains at the "A" pillar on the driver side.

If you have had any type of water intrusion I would suspect either one. Unfortunate If it is the CEM, replacing it would require a re-program as well.
