When I put the fuse in the power window slot it gets hot. When a window motor goes out will it short out the circuit? One side of the fuse has power with the key on. When I tried to send power to the other side that showed a ground with a power probe it sparked.

Good evening,

It sounds like you have a possible bad switch that is sending power to one of the motors or you have a wiring issue.

Do you have the correct fuse in the slot? The diagram shows a circuit breaker, not a fuse.

Yes, it is a silver circuit breaker. So you think it may be a bad switch instead?

I do not know as I am here and not there.

It needs to be checked to see. Remove the wires from the master switch on the driver's door and then recheck the breaker.

Everything was working fine. Then all of a sudden the windows stopped working. I tried to change the breaker and it was burning hot.

It is not the breaker.

Try what I suggested.

Okay, I will check that. I unhooked the front door drivers motor today and had the same issue. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Disconnect the switch, not the motor.

Sounds like a plan.
