Will not idle

Just replaced my knock sensors. While doing the job, replaced valve cover gaskets and intake manifold gaskets. Battery was disconnected for about 2 days. After completing the job, the car will not stay idling. Will start right up and idle at a very very low rpm, or it will shut off straight away. If I keep my foot on the gas pedal it will stay idling. I can drive the car if I just hold the gas and brake at a stop. Tried to "relearn" the idle with no luck.

Hi,

Have you checked for engine vacuum leaks? Since you had the intake off, there is a chance you missed a hose or one was broken. Here is a link that will help locate a leak if one exists:
