You pic didn't work. We have no idea do you have a bad reputation with garages? That may be the problem.

I am embarrassed to be a low income person, the garages is this area charge 75 dollars just to hook up a scanner, some of the garages will not even work on a 1991. Especially that Taurus. AXOD-E trans.
I am currently trying to locate a mobile mechanic that can come to my home as it is difficult to get around. I am beginning to think this car is cursed. I have 1000 dollars in new suspension and the interior is almost perfect. Being a senior its simply hard for me to do the physical bending and stretching, this area does not offer a senior help plan.

It's not. They may be having an issue with what you want them to do or the condition of your car.

The only two auto parts that scan here are autozone and kneights, they do not scan anything older than a 95. Ps. The brain does not tell anything not to run too rich. Simply runs over rich all the time from start up to park. Iac is new. And so is the brain.

See pic to get codes if any you need to have key on and count flashes on service light. You'll need ajumper wire to hookup at aldl which is at back of engine compartment. I have attached a pic showing what it looks like and where to attach. Get back with codes. One other thing check fuel pressure with a gauge you may need an adapter but most auto parts rent it.

Haven't done anything yet, discovered that the center injector on the side facing the front has been rewired, instead of red and green wires(just two) the wires are white only.
Is ther anyway to check if that injector is constantly running? Or pumping more fuel than needed?

Do what I've suggested first just because it has white wires don't mean anything.

Took the car in and replaced fuel regulator, and pcv and pcv hose.
Showing codes, 173,211,634,639, will see if the replacement gives me better mileage. Hopefully doesn't show code 173 now.

If sure wasn't 30-45 psi at idle then it was either low or high whatever your reading was. With key on engine off should be 35-40. The other codes may have come on when you were trying to fix it, maybe not. Why the car is so hard to fix is because it's OBD1 and over 20yrs old. Lot of mechanics don't want to take the time to look at them because it's ancient technology

634 is manual lever position out of range and 639 is no turbine speed sensor input so check if connected or fell off. 211 is ignition pickup failure so reset computer (pull fuse for ecm) and see if it goes away. The others have a trans guy look at it.
