Hello I have quite a lot white smoke coming from my exhaust when i'm in 1st and 2nd gear it only occurs when I start and stop a lot when I drive for long distances no excessive amounts of smoke come out there isn't not loss of power from the engine and there are no signs of leaks do you think it could be the catalytic converter?

Usually, white smoke indicates there is coolant getting into the combustion chamber. The most common cause of that is a bad head gasket. You may want to have it checked for that or check engine compression yourself to see if there is a low cylinder.

As far as the catalytic converter, it wouldn't cause white smoke and there would be a loss of power.
