Looking to check the transmission fluid on my vehicle. Can’t find a dipstick.

Where is the transmission’s dipstick located?

Hi,
If you open the hood, locate where the engine and transmission meet. On the side of the transmission with the transmission pan is where you will find the dipstick. I attached a picture below to help.
Let me know if you find it. It is down low and has a screw cap rather than a traditional dipstick.

Thanks Joe, I did find it. Boy do I feel dumb! It was out of sight Simply because of a hose. I should have seen it though. Can you tell me the correct procedure for checking it? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
No problem whatsoever. It isn't easy to see. Heck, if this was a Pontiac Torrent, you would need to remove one of the engine mounts to check it. LOL
As far as checking, I attached the directions below which also include inspecting the fluid condition. Take a look through them and let me know if you have questions.
