Okay, I have four 305/45/R22 rims and tires on the SUV listed above. One tire, on passenger side thread is no good. Needs to be replaced. I have a spare tire originally underneath my SUV that is 265/70/R16. I’m thinking I can replace it with the bad (305/45/R22) tire until I can get another brand new tire for (305/45/R22). Or is the 265/70/R16 too small to fit with the rest of the three 305/45/R22 tires that are currently on now?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Unfortunately, That is not a good idea. How long do you plan on running it like this? Having different tire sizes will possibly damage the transfer case being that it's a 4x4. You need to have all the same size tires on a 4x4. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
