Hello,

The lug nuts to a final torque of 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.) here is a video to show you how to tighten the lugs using a torque wrench

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I just installed my winter tire with steel rims today. But my problem is, it is making a noise when I slow down and I even put on a new lug nuts. With the aluminum rims on, this noise can not be heard but. The nuts are tight enough but it is still it is making this noise clanging noise. What must be the problem? Hoping for your most appreciated reply. Thanks.

I did not see the new nut part. Jack up one of the wheels and see if it is loose on the hub if not then it may be just the thing with the wheel. If wheel is loose you can get spacers to take the slack up 1/8" would do it.

Do the new wheels have hub caps? If so then take them off and see if you still have the noise. I do not think it is dangerous to drive just irritating. You can always take to a local mechanic and see what he says. A lot of hub caps make weird noises a lot of times to or check for rocks caught in the wheel as normally I cannot think of anything that would cause what you are talking about with new wheels.

They make special sockets to remove the nuts or else you need to drill out the stude and drive it out of the nut

2 rear wheel lugs broken off. How do you replace the lugs, as it seems that the rear bearing cover will not allow you to remove the hub holding the studs?

You need to punch out the old ones and replace them. You don't need to remove the hub.
