First the brake and battery light came on replaced the alternator (used), bought a new battery ran for 3 days. And now it just cranks but no start. So took it to the shop now the mechanic is saying the security light will not go off and he can't start it.

Hello,

Okay, so in the diagrams down below I have included what the vehicle manufacturer says to do when this situation arises. If your vehicle is at a shop maybe you can take this guide and give it to your mechanic and see what he can do with it? I hope this helps. Please get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
