The car listed above is a GTP SC 3.8-. I am wondering what I should apply on the threads of head bolts, rocker arm bolts, and intake bolts before installing? I was told that oil and other fluids will seep past the threads and cause premature failure of the gaskets if I don't use the proper sealant.

Hi Alan,

Right off the bat, I will say not to use 'any' thread lock or anti-seize compound on any of those components that you mentioned! Simply use engine oil, assembly lube (my recommendation), or a gear oil. Use what you have handy of those advised to use.
Don't be concerned about the oil causing any detriment damage to the gaskets. Engine oil is constantly flowing around and through the head gaskets as it's supposed to be. A tiny-tiny bit more (couple drops) around bolt threads is insignificant.

Be well, Glenn
