Hello,

This is the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP).
The MAP sensor sends data to the ECM for it to control air fuel mixture.

You might have to purchase a new sensor as most of the time the grommet is not available by itself.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

What does it do? If i just leave it hanging and start the car for now would i get a rough idle? I found the rubber piece online.

The MAP signals the ECM to help determine how much fuel to provide. So, it will likely run rough and trigger the check engine light.
