I was just wondering what are the parts of the electric power steering on our vehicle listed above. I Googled it and Google told me it was the torque sensor, steering wheel position sensor, electric motor, and electronic module, are these all the electric power steering parts or are there more parts? And if the electric power steering fails can the car still be steered but with much more effort like it can when hydraulic power steering loses power steering fluid? Ah oh, I just successfully uploaded an image of what bing images told me was a 2014 Nissan Versa SV steering wheel position sensor, is that what the steering wheel position sensor looks like? Is it round and does it wrap around the steering wheel so it can sense the position of the steering wheel? Thank you in advance for the information you provide.

Hello,

If the power steering fails, the vehicle can still be driven although the steering will turn very difficult.

Do you have any problems/warning lights on regarding the power steering?

The image for the steering angle sensor is correct.
It is located behind the steering wheel, part of the spiral cable/clock spring.

How to access and replace the steering angle sensor:

A layout of the power steering system on your vehicle is in the images below.
All the components are steering column mounted.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, Boris

Thank you very much Boris, now I know that the electronic control module and antilock braking module controls the electric power steering components and not just the fuel injectors and ignition coils, you only have 700 posts under your name while other mechanics whom I can't name because I don't know about confidentiality laws, one other mechanic had 70,000 posts and a third one had 140,000 posts but you look very well-versed in auto mechanics and in automotive technology, and the mechanic with the 70,000 posts once told me that he takes a class on electric power steering but you seem experienced on electric power steering even though you only have 700 posts under your name, now I know all of the parts of an electric power steering and how they are related to the anti-lock brake module and to the electronic control module something some information I couldn't have gotten from google alone, you are a very good mechanic and thank you very much.
