My car has been leaking coolant at the front center which has made me think my water pump is going bad, but just recently a rattling noise has just started. Today my car shut off on me and the engine was hot but the temperature gauge did not show that it was overheating. Where should I start or how would I know where the rattling noise is coming from and what should I do to fix the problem?

Hello,

This could be a problem with the bearing going bad in your vehicle's water pump. In the diagrams down below I have included a diagnostic troubleshooting flowchart for your vehicle's water pump, and the instructions for the removal and installation of your vehicle's water pump for you as well. Please go through these guides and get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
