Warning light constantely on

Hi there. Since I bought this vehicle with a diesel engine, one of the warning lights will stay constantly on (looks like a radiator). I do not have the slightest idea what does it mean. Thanks indeed :)

My guess is that symbol is for low coolant level. Check the level in the reservoir. Typically you willll find a "Minimum" and a "Maximum" mark on the side. The level should be above the "Minimum" mark when the engine is cold. The level goes up when the engine is hot because the coolant expands.

On some cars the markings on the reservoir are impossible to see. Those will usually have markings on a dip stick that is part of the cap.
