My car shakes really bad, and my battery light is on and the light on the dashboard is blinking and the meter numbers go up and down.

Hi,

Today's vehicles are extremely sensitive when it comes to voltage. If the alternator isn't producing, it can cause all kinds of crazy things.

So, how often does this happen? I ask because we need to check if the alternator is failing. To check, you will need a voltmeter or multimeter. It's really easy to do but should be done when the light is on.

Here is a link that explains how it's done:

Try this and let me know the results. Also, let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
