Wanted to buy this car. Please tell me if easy fix. This is what Ad says:

2001 VW Passat 159,875 miles fully loaded with heated seats and sunroof. As soon as you start it the low coolant light comes on and gives the stop engine warning. New timing chain because we had to take of the front clip to change the water pump so we done these together. New coolant flange and heater hoses due to possible cracks in old ones. New brake pads, 50% tires and great fuel mileage. Just can not figure out the issue with the low coolant light at start up it has to be a sensor.

Good morning,

You need to pressure test the system to check for an external leak. If none is found then it is internal.

Think of it like this, if it were an easy fix, the current owner would have already done it. The fact he is selling it like this tells me it is more involved and he does not want to spend the money.
