Ignition off
Fold up the floor hatch in the cargo compartment
Unhook the floor cargo strap
Push the floor storage compartment and hatch to one side
Remove the corner section of the floor.

Remove the hatch on the rear side panel.

Removing the lower tail lamp

Remove:

2 10mm nuts.

Remove:

the tail lamp by pulling it straight back
the bulb holder by twisting it and pulling it outwards
the bulb.

Thanks to js001?

There is no apparent way to remove the rear side hatch. I finally just forced it out. Then I searched and found two recessed 3 inch long 10mm nuts which when removed allowed removal of the lens by pulling straignt back. Then the bulb holder and light were obvious.

More specific advice on exactly how to remove any component is necessary.

Thanks again

I guess the plastic tab at the bottom of the side hatch is boken? Usually I just grab from the bottom tab and pull up to release and then down to move it out of the way. But glad you did figure it out. If I can help you with anything else just ask and I will try and help.
