2006 Volvo V70

I have a problem with the rear seats and seat belts, when I fold down the seat back rest the seat belt locks up and I cannot raise the seat, this is the first time this has happened.

You will need to remove the bench to loosen up the seat belt bolt for the one that is hanging up. Once you get the seat up, pull the belt down and look at the other side seat belt. You should see a little buttonon it. If the one getting stuck is missing the button that I why your seat belt gets stuck. The button stops the belt from retracting too far so that the backrest does not get stuck down. You can get the seat belt button from Volvo. The old button should have left an indentation on the belt so use that as your guide. Good luck an hope this helps. Keep me posted please.
