Hello, I have a 2001 Volvo v70 t5 and the emission light on the dash is now on. I have had a look at a few clues on the internet but I still cannot get rid of it. What is the cause and what repair is necessary?

There are several auto parts store chains that will scan the car for free, Auto Zone I believe is one, a phone call can help you find one in you neck of the woods. The emissions light might being on might be as simple as not getting the gas cap on after fueling the car or it could be something more involved, the scan will uncover the issue.
