Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Volvo S80 6 cyl Automatic 150, 00 miles

my 1999 volvo S80 t6 has a snapped timing belt and it was estimated to remove the head and even check for engine damage it would run 5-600$ and depending on if and what extent of damage would run 1500-2500$ to fix it. It has an oil seal leak problem, but was told it could be fixed for a few hundred extra while everything else was being fixed. I need advice on if it's worth fixing it or if it's a waste of money?

I do not know where you are taking your car in to but I can 100% tell you that all your valves are bent. You will need to replace the head or have a complete valve job. You may be spending about $5000 maybe more? If you are going to go through with this job make sure that they also check the piston height. Depending on how fast you were going the piston hitting on valves could also bend the piston rod. This is a very expensive repair so you need to decide if the car is worth holding on to?
