Believe it or not but they will never run the monitors. Here in California the smog machine wont even look at that. When you cycle the key off and back on the monitors will reset. There is no corrective action for this. During normal driving the monitors will be checked and if a fault is detected there will be a code set so no light, no codes, no worries.
