Electrical problem
2001 Volvo S60 118000 miles

I bought my Volvo 2001 from a used car dealer back in Nov. 2009. A couple months later it started acting strange. The dashboard stopped working, the turn signals wouldn't work, the engine sometimes would sound loud when I would first start it, and would I change from drive to reverse or from reverse to drive, the car would jerk hard and make a loud noise. I believe that this is a wiring problem. If it is, I was wondering what you think the best course of action to take would be? Do you think I should take it to a Volvo repair shop? How much do you think this would cost?

THE JERKING CONDITION WHEN SHIFTING INTO GEAR IS NOT RELATED TO THE ELECTRICAL ISSUES IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. SOUNDS LIKE YOU THE CAR NEEDS TO BE DIAGNOSED AT A REPAIR FACILITY. BY THE WAY, VOLVOS TYPICALLY DONT HAVE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS.
