2000 Volvo S40 resetting radio

The ignition key turn to the position 1, the radio unit must be on. Than you have to wait around 2 hours NOT LESS. Radio will turn it self to the CODE position. And than enter the right numbers. While you r waiting make sure all lights r off or u will and up with flat battery. Hope it will work. By the way I need radio code for s40 2001 radio HU-605 if u have it post it to h. Dal01@gmail.
