2000 Volvo S40 engine

Oil continues to splatter all over my engine. Just purchased my Volvo2000 s40. Engine is quiet but I am unhappy with the mystery of my oil lproblem. I have brought the car back to the dealer for repair in regards to this but the problem continues. I will again bring back the car but I would like to know what is the problem for myself. Plz help. Thanks.

Where is it coming from? Where is it appearing on the engine? Under what conditions?

There is a oil additive that can be added and then seen with a blacklight to observe where the leak is from.

Kinda hard to tell what is wrong unless you go into more depth about it.
