2001 Volvo C70 ignition switch antenna ring

The dealership has replaced the antenna ring 3 times and it continues to fail after about a year. No solutions are forthcomming from Volvo.
engine will turn over but not fire, unless key is removed and reinserted. Sometimes it fires for a few seconds then engine shuts off. Remove key and try again is the only way to start car sometimes requiring several attempts

I believe there was an issue with the terminals on the connector for the antenna ring and the immobilizer control module. The repair that was done was to replace the terminals on those 2 connectors.
