CAN YOU TELL ME WHY MY FIANCEES CAR HAS TO BE HEATED HALF WAY ON THE OIL TEMP TO STAY STARTED AND RUNNING. THIS IS CONFUSING ME REALLY BAD AND I CANT FIGURE OUT IF THIS IS A SENSOR PROBLEM OR WHAT.

It could be a bad coolant sensor that is keeping it from running cold. If there are any Volvo shops near you, it may be good to have them scan it for any trouble codes stored in the computer. This may lead to the problem. There areant too many other things that are related to temp as far as mixture control goes.
