1990 Volvo 740 power train control module

I went to take my car for new brakes and rotos and new water pump and now they say it wont start its been at the shop for 1 week aleardy since last monday and I got a call yesterday saying that its the pcm and they never touched it I would like to know how is it possible for the pcm to just not work if they "did not touch it" is it near were all of these new parts were added or was it during an inspection because they needed to know what was needed in order to order new parts for the car well please let me know

The replacement parts has nothing to do with the computer-they did something wrong-if I were you send your vehicle somewhere esle and demand an explanation

It has 2 seperate computers fuel and ignition system
