1986 Volvo 740 GLE turbo tie rods

I went to brakes plus to get an alignment and they told me I needed to replace inner and outer tie rods on the passenger side and the left inner tie rod. They wanted about $550. I though that was rediculous. I could buy new parts for about $150 how hard is it to replace these?

A few special tools. Will need an alignment when you are done

It takes a bout a half hour per side, if you have done a few times before. Any case when you take it apart make sure to count the turna as you takr the outer tirod off (reference off the stud) if the inner tie rod has a kock washer make sure to put the locke washer back and line up the tabs. If it dont have a lock washer you want to put lak tite on the threads when you rplace the inner tie rods
