how do you fix a 91 volvo 240 for cutting off when gas is pressed slightly after coming to a stop or slowing down on local roads. Highway is ok.

Idle is good. It does start back up but hesisate "sputters" to move even when you give it gas. Just bought it and changed all spark plugs, wires etc. The person we bought if from said we bought it as is however this started within 3-4 days of purchase.

Need to check fuel pressure 42 psi also clean Air Meter located in air intake snorkle. Use a MAF cleaner any parts store will have.
