My volume and mode buttons were not working and the airbag light was on. An electrician diagnosed it and told me to replace the clock spring, which I did but those two buttons are still malfunctioning. My horn and cruise control buttons were working before and after the clock spring replacement. Please help.

This normally is the clockspring as the issue but if that was replaced then we need to do a little more testing.

We need to go to the AC/AV switch and test for voltage coming from the buttons when you press them.

I included the info from the manual on where this is and the wiring diagram that will give the detail on the wires that we need to test.

However, just to confirm what you meant that the horn and cruise worked prior and they are still working after the replacement? Or did you mean the horn and cruise are no longer working after the replacement?

If they are no longer working then they either did not install it correctly or it is a faulty part.
