How do you remove the front seats from an 02 VW Passat Wagon. I found what looks like a seat spring rolling around the floor of the car and would like to replace it.

This question seems to be the only relevant thing on the topic that Google finds. So if you've worked out here is how the front seat comes out. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.

I am attaching another possible location of this spring. It is part of the seat recline system. Also, this spring may be part of the seat track so if you get a picture of the spring we may be able to identify it.
