2002 Volkswagen Passat 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 75000 miles

I need help in replacing the battery. I got the cover off, but am unsure how the battery is secured. Any suggestions would help.

Sorry but I cannot answer your question. I am looking at an 02 passat with 101k, fully loaded. Should I buy it? It is the AWD model.
